M. of Alabama History Grand Lodge of Alabama Organized June 11, 1821 at Cahaba, AL. 1st Annual Communication held in Tuscaloosa, AL in December, 1821. Leeds Lodge # 446 began operating on March 4, 1885 under Dispensation from the Grand Lodge of Alabama. Worshipful Master – Col. John A. Milner Charter Members - Jonathan W. Bass, John W. Lawley, John H. Abercrombie, Lewis B. Griffin, James H. Lawrence, John R. Abercrombie, William McLaughlin and James C. Roberson. Grand Master - John G. Harris Deputy Grand Master - Myles J. Greene Senior Grand Warden - William T. Adkins Junior Grand Warden - Henry H. Brown Grand Secretary - Daniel Sayre Received Charter on December 7, 1887 from the Grand Lodge of Alabama. Worshipful Master - Col. John A. Milner Grand Master - Myles J. Greene Deputy Grand Master - Henry H. Brown Senior Grand Warden - George M. Morrow Junior Grand Warden - Francis L. Pettus Grand Secretary - Daniel Sayre Frank W. Little, current Secretary and Past Master was elected Grand Master of Mason in Alabama in November, 2005. He presided over 31,000 Masons and 317 Lodges throughout Alabama until November of 2006. He was the 124th Grand Master at the 186th Ann
