History & Past Masters - Conasauga Lodge #396 Conasauga Lodge #396 Home Officers Work & Events Dues & Donations History & Past Masters Contact Us & Links Conasauga Masonic Lodge #396 suffered a great loss in 2018.  We said our last goodbyes to Brother and Past Master David Eugene (Gene) Meador. Brother Gene served as the Illustrious Grand Chaplain of Tennessee and received Associate Regent/Holder of the Purple Cross within Cherokee York Rite College.  He was a member of Brainerd Lodge No. 736, acting Chaplain and Past Master of Conasauga Lodge No. 396, and Meridian Sun Lodge No. 50.  He is greatly missed by his Masonic family.  History of Conasauga Masonic Lodge #396 Conasauga Lodge # 396 F&AM, was constituted on October 5, 1869, at  Browders store in Conasauga Tenn. and Chartered November 13,1871. First officers included Houston Henry - Master, C.C. Howell - Senior Warden, and John H. Wilson - Junior Warden.         Around 1900 the Lodge was moved near the Cumberland Shed on the Moore's Place and in 1921 the Lodge Building was constructed in Ocoee Tennessee, where meetings were held on the second Saturday night of each month, until 1985 when the Lodge moved into the newly constructed building on Highway 411 in Ocoee. This organization has been in continuous operation since 1869 with many of the old records preserved. At this time Conasauga Lodge is very active and has more than 130 members.  In the
